i think this is definitely my least favorite austen HAHA. i think u can also tell that this is her first work. at the very least, it's interesting to see the emergence of some austen archetypes. i dunno maybe i need to think about it more though. 

i feel like i appreciated emma's comedy and pride and prejudice's shenanigans more... i think those are the austen works that i was thinking about most while reading
