Oh my gosh, I got this book from the 2015/16 owlcrate box. I mostly got it cause i was hoping for a steampunk book. It turned out to be so much more.

Honestly I didn’t know it was a Peter Pan retelling until after although it strays away the main source. It keeps certain elements and adds a twist to them.

Hook in this story has a deeper background story and I really liked that .

This book made me have so many emotions that I definitely must continue the series one day. Though I wasn’t a fan of the romance. It just felt unnecessary in my own opinion .

But if you love books with action, characters who are much deeper then the surface, steampunk, and so much twists and turns. Then I most definitely recommend this.
