I appreciate the research that must go into this series of books. It's interesting and a scattering of actual history and facts keeps me somewhat engaged.

But the writing is atrocious and repetitive. It's geared toward ADHD male adventure readers who get excited about the word breasts.

I only listened to this audiobook under protest because I struggle to find anything my husband would enjoy listening to on road trips to save me from being subjected to ACDC and the Police albums on repeat.
