Seven Year Switch by Claire Cook

Umm no.
1. I didn't care for any of the characters. I was going to say that Cynthia was my favorite because she was more of a comedic relief, but a more accurate reason is that she was just a little more tolerable than the rest.
2. Jill was... a lot. Jill was a lot. I understand that she has a right to feel the way she does because of what she went through, but the entire story?? She was so negative that it put me in a dark headspace everytime I picked up the book. Which is probably why it took me long to read such a short one.
3. The synopsis and cover are DECEIVING! They make you think that it's a beach story and it gives off summer vibes. Nay nay. Out of 237 pages, she doesn't even make the decision to go to Costa Rica until page 167.
