I LOVED this book. It was beautiful and heartbreaking but hopeful all in one.
Martha is a person we all know, and many even are. I identified deeply with many of Martha’s feelings, and know we have shared thoughts. How beautiful to know I wasn’t alone, but how deeply confronting was it to watch from a third person view.
I will never forget Martha, or her special relationship with her sister Ingrid. Their sense of humour throughout many challenges and hurdles was what you hope all sibling relationships are made of.
