The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
5.0
Read The Mysterious Benedict Society (#1) by Trenton Lee Stewart
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ or (9.28/10)
Characters - 9
The characters were extremely enjoyable and the character development was awesome! I just wish some of the characters had been explained more/they could've had more of a backstory. But continuing the series will probably help with that.
Atmosphere - 9
The setting details were impeccable, but there were some instances where I got a bit confused where they were. Especially during flashbacks.
Writing - 10
The writing was just absolutely amazing. Reminds me of the book The Name of this Book is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch, another phenomenal book. It was just higher level, but very easy to understand.
Plot - 10
That plot was on another level. Crazy good.
Intrigue - 9
Towards the end, I definitely got more interested. But overall, the book kept my interest very well.
Logic - 9
Epic logic for sure. I feel like you need good logic to make a good mystery and this book did that.
Enjoyment - 9
One of the few books that I truly enjoyed reading for a long period of time. This book I actually gave up on around a year ago. Gave it another chance and I'm glad I did! Definitely excited to read the sequel :D
