Beautifully written story about a man looking back over a lifetime of memories and mistakes as he awaits his death. Our main character, Joseph, is one of the most likable, unlikable fictional characters I've read. He plays both victim and oppressor throughout the book, and I had a lot of fun trying to decide how I felt about him each time he made a decision.

It's an emotional roller coaster of a read, and it's graphic. Please check your CW's before diving in.
