The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion

2.0

This was quite a dissapointment. I didn't expect not loving this since the first one really suprised me so much. Lack of communication causing relationship issues are a really easy and cheap way to write a story. It's almost never believable or done right, but normally I can get over it since it's only a subplot. In this book it's the main event and even though it does make a little sense because of the way Don is it still annoyed me SO MUCH. I also didn't like Don as much as in the last book, but at least he didn't do a 360. Rosie her actions were so stupid and didn't make any sense. After that the sotry still had to be finished though, so the author just fixed everything quickly in a total unrealistic way. But hey, everythings all right now, so it doesn't matter right? Just no. I added a star however for Don, I love how he isn't the typical main character. He brought a few refreshing situations as long Rosie wasn't part of it.
