The first 40% already had a lot of pacing problems, but after the crew finally got into space the pace REALLY tanked. This novel crawls along while hinting that something interesting might happen at some point, but good luck getting there. I caught myself only wanting to continue out of sunk cost/time. If I’m not excited to pick something up, I won’t, so that’s that.
