Favorite October spooky read... This book right here is why I love Scandi-Nordic Noir! I can not believe this is a debut novel. The Chestnut Man is very intense, eerie, full of twist and turns and yes, at times gory. There was also so much character depth and a very well developed plot.

This book totally lives up to the hype and definitely not for the faint of heart. A must read foe Nesbo and Lars Kepler fans.
