Loved this book
This book made me love fantasy again. There were a couple twists and I don’t feel like any of the characters are super safe. It’s an interesting premise and doesn’t shy away from the realities of the fantastical land or fictional war that it’s set in. Violet overcomes a lot but also has realistic struggles. Lots of character growth from all sides in this story

Graphic: Chronic illness, Death, Sexual content, and Violence
Moderate: Panic attacks/disorders, Fire/Fire injury, War, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Medical content, Grief, and Death of parent
Main character has a chronic illness spoken about quite openly throughout the book I think in real life it would elhers danlos syndrome
Main character experiences grief father, brother, friend, includes description of friend dying
Details of multiple injuries/deaths could be seen as graphic
Sexual content is in there but I didn’t personally think the book had a huge focus on this
