The easiest 5 star read.
Based on the tropes, I knew this was going to be utterly amazing. Their first meeting was so funny and this book Is very every summer after & love and other words coded but with kilt daddies & food as a love language π€π»
Thank you @authorkelsdenisestone for blessing me with this arc and for allowing me to be part of your arc team!! π₯°π₯Ήπ
Ollie & meadow needed this second chance cause to be so hopelessly devoted to someone for almost two decades is wild. My heart died a little when Ollie had a picture of her in his wallet for 17 YEARS π© He was fumbling big time in the beginning but I loved seeing him reconnect with his hometown and seeing them slowly fall back in love again GAH MY SOUL π₯Ήπ I love that both Ollie and meadow had complex family relationships and dynamics. Having parents that arenβt really supportive and donβt communicate all that well hurts my heart. I love when characters find that person who is their safe space and becomes the one you can lean on. The topics of grief, panic attacks and crippling periods was represented so amazingly. I rarely read about periods in books and this one was so refreshing seeing how it affected meadows life.
