Five Tuesdays in Winter by Lily King
4.0
I originally discovered Lily King last year when I picked up her book Writers and Lovers (which I loved), and I knew pre-ordering her latest book was a must. This was a book of short stories, quietly told, revolving around all different sorts of relationships. Because I got a little taste of this and a little taste of that, I felt like this was such a well-rounded, complete reading experience. Lily King writes beautifully. There is subtlety and a sort of hazy quality in her prose, which I find peaceful. I liked each of the stories to varying degrees, but my very favorite was the title story, "Five Tuesdays in Winter."
