The Watchmaker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley
5.0
absolutely lovely, slow and ponderous. NOT a book to read for the plot necessarily; it's there and it comes together slowly, but it's surprising and doesn't have a traditional set up and pay off structure. i.e. the bombings are not actually the main plot of this book.
Relationships are set up beautifully, so much so that they do not need to be explicitly stated to understand them.
