Janitors by Tyler Whitesides
3.0
A silly adventure with magical cleaning equipment, warlock janitors, and an evil corporation ready to overthrow education as we know it. This book doesn't take itself too seriously. It is fun, easy-going, and full of a few chuckles here-and-there. I tried really hard to enjoy the characters, but most of them annoyed me.
I would've liked to see more change and growth from the characters. Spencer had his moments with learning to tell the truth and not be such a chameleon, but what about everyone else? Maybe in the future volumes of this series.
I did enjoy the hopeful, blooming relationship between the young Daisy and Spencer. I would like to see how that develops, their friendship (though, I need to keep in mind that this is not a YA title, haha). I also would like to see how Dez continues to interact with the others. I feel like he will have more of a role in the future.
Overall, worth a read. It was silly, comical, and engaging, but just a little too over-the-top for me. Kids would probably enjoy the light material.
