I loved this game, and it was nice to revisit the first part of the game after quite some time, as well as gain a little bit of new info. However the writing itself was weak, and I hoped to get more descriptions of the beautiful world and battle. A quick read, that gives an introduction to the world of NieR if you for some reason don't want to play the game. However you will not be able to build such an emotional bond to the characters as by playing.
