Green Witch by Alice Hoffman
3.0
For some reason the quality of this book reminded me of Invitation to the Game by Monica Hughes. Totally different story here; Green is recovering from the sudden brutal loss of her family and the betrayal of the man she met shortly afterward. By taking ownership of the stories around her, including her own, she is able to come to terms with both her grief and the betrayal.
My favorite theme in this book was the one about stories and story collection. The plot was a little thin, but I thought the book itself was enjoyable to read and the character of Green was solid and well-written.
