Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa

5.0

Iโ€™m an Indigo Employee, & I received an advanced reading copy of this book from the publisher, in exchange for my honest feedback.

THE WORST PART OF READING AN ADVANCED READING COPY OF THE FIRST BOOK IN A SERIES IS HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK.

Shadow of the Fox was SO good!

Smart, funny, fast-paced, action-packed, & full of twists and turns - this YA fantasy will leave you breathless (& wanting more ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜).

Pulling from Japanese culture and mythology, with all the elements of YA you love (dual character POVs, likeable characters, magic, *~ c H e m I S t r Y ~*, fun and engaging secondary characters) - I canโ€™t wait for MORE. More world development, more character development, more story development, more *~ c H e m I S t r Y ~*, & more books in this series.

Julia Kagawa never disappoints, but I think this might be my favourite series debut yet!
