It is such a shame, I was looking forward to this book so much.

It is my fault for not doing more research than just reading the description, as I am not a huge fan of science fiction books. I also could not wrap my head around the writing style of either author.

I preferred El-Mohtar's writing to Gladstone's, however I found it rather difficult to swap back and forth between the two. I also did not like the basic structure of the book, with the letters as the gateway into each point of view. 

Overall I just did not enjoy the little I have read, and I cannot bring myself to continue further.
