Mindscan by Robert J. Sawyer

I read this book in a day, and not because it is a short book. The book was a fascinating read that kept me engaged from page 1. It was fascinating for a number of reasons: the ethical implications of copied consciousness, which is the main conflict of the book, but I was also fascinated by Sawyer's forecast of the year 2045, as written from 2005.
