pacing was good, although the extreme attention to detail caused it drag at times (despite the majority of the plot taking place over the course of like a week). enjoyed the characters and the setting, but the universe is dense so i frequently had trouble picturing things cohesively and gave up on trying to correctly pronounce names/places. overall a good story of hope and healing :-)
