Blech. Sawyer is on the run from the US because she killed her twin brother since he was SA’ing her. (We don’t know this until the last 15%). She ends up in Australia, has a one night stand with Enzo and steals his identity to keep funds in her account. He ends up taking her on his boat later (knowing she stole his identity) and he rage fucks her in the face of sharks in the water to punish her…? Then their boat crashes and they end up on this little island with a lighthouse and an old guy who says his lighthouse is haunted. Turns out it’s his actual daughter who he’s chained up in the attic and he’s literally sewn her mouth shut. Enzo and Sawyer realize they have to get off the island and creepy old man wants Sawyer to stay and be his pet. They have a big fight and people die and Enzo convinces Sawyer to pretend to be the creepy guy’s daughter so when authorities come she’s not arrested.

The will-they-won’t-they was great. The tension was awesome. Enzo is so broody and angry and awesome in bed. The story behind it all just didn’t do it for me.
