Spider Bones by Kathy Reichs

4.0

Anther fun read from Kathy Reichs in the Temperance Brennan series. Tempe is once again in Montreal working for the coroner’s office helping to identify the remains of a man found drowned in a lake. When his fingerprints identify him as a soldier long thought dead and buried during the Vietnam War, Tempe is off to her second home, North Carolina, to identify who was buried in the grave 40 years before. Tempe believes her job is done but when the remains travel to Hawaii to the military base tasked with identifying POW and MIA remains, she’s on the plane to help break the case. With her daughter along for a little rest and recovery of her own, Tempe works with longtime friends and new colleagues to identify who really was buried in North Carolina and who was killed in Montreal. But someone is hiding a long dead secret and isn’t ready for Tempe to be digging in to the past. Fun read. I really enjoy that not only am I enjoying a fun read, I swear I’m learning something new with every book.
