Bury your gays is a Hollywood trope mechanism when a gay character is about to be happy or has a happy moment they are killed off. This book is an LGBTQIA horror story about that. Misha is a semi-closeted writer is told to kill off his characters that have been building up to a seasons long romantic moment. When he tells the studio no, things get a bit terrifying.
