Lightman's writing glows, the ideas are interesting, and I am sure if I were to try to sit down to imagine through what each dreamed-of time might entail, it would reveal lots more layering. Maybe it's a good book club book. As it was, I enjoyed it but don't need to keep it in my mind in any sense.
