This book had a lot going for it. I appreciated all the representation, for everything from LGBTQIA+, to BIPOC, and even to mental health. The book was overall very positive and optimistic, and the friendship and romance were cute and endearing. Still there was something that I can’t quite put my finger on that made it so the book didn’t quite hold my attention. I’m not sure if it was the book itself or the fact that I didn’t quite care for the audiobook narration, but I didn’t end up liking the book as much as I had hoped. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to people looking for a YA romance with all that representation listed above.
