Full disclosure -- I stopped reading this at 35%. I tend not to give ratings on books I don't finish b/c how do I know how I would feel if I'd actually gotten through it all? This was just not a book for me. It started off SOOOOO confusing for me b/c the author just dove right into the new world without explaining anything. I know some readers like that, but I am NOT one of those readers. I don't mind if it's subtle, or if some things are revealed slowly over time, but this was just a lot of new concepts and I was having a hard time keeping track of it all and it totally sucked the enjoyment out of it. I will say, the first sex scene between Gavin and Zoe was smokin hot. And by the time I gave up, I was getting a better understanding of what was going on, but it just felt like work reading it, and I was finding myself doing other things in my life instead of reading, which is SOOOOO not normal, so I figured why continue when I have LITERALLY hundreds of other books waiting to be read. So if you are like me and don't react well to diving headfirst into new concepts without initial explanation, then I would proceed with caution. If not, then it looks like you're in for a hell of a ride considering the reviews below...
