Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling
5.0
If you think about it, reading this book is like reading the EXACT thing that's going to happen in the movie, because it's a screenplay. However to me, it's always a grander experience to read something before relishing it visually.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them was every bit magical, both the book and the movie. In fact, I am delighted to finally use the phrase, "the movie was better".
All the characters were fresh and adorable. All the beasts were indeed fantastic. Newt is definitely someone I'd read and watch for four more years. To me, he is Hagrid in disguise. Eddie Redmayne has played this eccentric character with full justice. I am impatiently looking forward to learning more about Dumbledore's past (and about a little secret revealed in this book) in the next movie.
Not one bit disappointed. Now if Rowling could write a Ravenclaw's story, that'd be great! =D
