Dear Fahrenheit 451: Love and Heartbreak in the Stacks: A Librarian's Love Letters and Breakup Notes to the Books in Her Life by Annie Spence
5.0
Whoops, forgot to write a review for this one!
Dear Fahrenheit 451 is a great book and totally worth all the time it took me to remember it's title and the spelling. Who am I kidding? Predictive text is doing all the spelling for me xP
Filled with love letters, breakup notes and so much more we see the books from the eyes of a librarian but most importantly, a true bibliophile. Annie is just like us all. She has a fantasy library, talks to her books, prefers to sniff them and use as perfumes and basically thinks and dreams about books.
I loved all the letters, many of them were relatable and were addressed to a mix of books from different eras and different genres which is what makes it all the more relatable! Annie has a really interesting writing voice and I ended up snorting and laughing over this book a lot more than I had expected to.
The only had thing? Your TBR will expand X10 after you're done adding all the recommendations :' (
Somebody give us a break.
All in all, great light read, would recommend to everyone for sure!
