This book wasn’t what I was expecting but I loved it anyway. This book was 100x better (in my opinion) than the last one. I liked the side characters a lot more. Also, it portrayed Apollo’s shift from his arrogant/godly-self to his more humanly-self really well. I think all of the deaths helped with that and I want to see what will happen and just who is a part of the death toll.
On a happy note, though, I’m hoping to see a future love interest for him🤞and I’m hoping Rick Riordan continues to play with Apollo’s complicated, mixed feelings about his past love life. Those are some of the most interesting parts—and “godly”—in the book.
Also I can’t halo but hope to ship Apollo x Hyacinthus (somehow). ;)I really hope that one comes true.
