Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman

3.5

(3.5 Stars) This book is well written and has a fantastic and realistic love story. I really enjoyed the first and last parts of this book. I found those areas to be the most entertaining and easy understandable. I found the middle to be a bit repetitive since Elio is going through the day to day over and over. I also found the middle to have a lot of things that went over my head. I’m unsure if it was simply me not understanding the references or the writing style was just not straight forward enough for me. Plus I think I find more difficulty in understanding people’s thoughts and emotions written out rather than show to me through actions. This is why I loved the parts that were in Rome so much. Being shown emotion and caring through never ending nights was my favorite part of the whole book. Overall a good read, I might just be a little too dumb to have understood everything
