i wasn't really expecting this to be like the netflix show i came to love, but it really surprised me how the characters annoyed me. i realized it's because we're also reading it in eleanor's POV, however, it doesn't change the fact that they were all so aggravating.

the story is still very much eerie but it was rather difficult for me to read since i didn't like the characters.
