Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist

2.0

Neglected kids, delinquents, bullies, alcoholics, pedophiles, single parents, teachers, police, and, of course, vampires and zombies collide in the seamy pre-planned suburban underbelly of Sweden. The first 20 pages of this book set my expectation for depth that was only occasionally met in the remaining 450. So, it was ok for a genre read but I need more than plot to give more stars.
