Midnight in Chernobyl: The Untold Story of the World's Greatest Nuclear Disaster by Adam Higginbotham

informative reflective fast-paced

3.5

A clearly well researched study of the Chernobyl power plant and its consequent disaster. I particularly enjoyed learning about the effect it had on the workers and  people of Pripryat, as well as the impact that USSR leadership had in the handling of the disaster. The book definitely had a lot more depth than I expected, the mechanics behind the plant itself just bored me a little.
