Not a bad book or anything. Just not working for me or what I expected. Our MC seems like a sweetheart. Considerate, helpful, empathetic, hard-working, optimistic, resilient. She's investing in  her life and doesn't have generational wealth to rely on, but isn't crabby or jealous about it. And most people are SO mean to her, even adults. The bullying is brutal and comes from all sides. Death by a thousand paper cuts stuff. Like you know when someone is coming after you, but when you try to talk about it or gather evidence, it just makes you sound petty and so it's almost impossible to prove? Can see dreams and hopes being stolen from her. That kind of stuff. Just too sad and mean for me rn!
