How? How did Marissa Meyer do it? She took a fairy tale, one that’s been told ages over and not only found a new way to tell the story, but added augmented humans, magic, and a dystopian future that I ate up hook, line, and sinker. What a fantastic follow up to Cinder. The two storylines of Cinder the fugitive and Scarlett with Wolf dovetailed beautifully. I literally could not put this one down. Finished in one shot and already requested the next one from the library!
