I enjoyed this book. However, it was missing a sufficient description of the main character, Alaskan Trooper Nathan Active. I never did get a sense of him physically, so that I could picture him in the story. That was frustrating, because the story was engaging, but it’s hard to get invested in the characters if you can’t picture them. And good heavens, what there not one single editor that looked at this book???? All that being said, I will be reading the next book in the series.
