The representation of mental health (i.e, ED + OCD) is done really thoughtfully from both the perspective of the person going through it AND the perspective of that person’s loved ones. This was definitely a more emotional / serious plot of the other heartstopper series but it was done with care! There were also some classic funny moments in here that made me smile:

- Torri, constantly being a badass and standing up for Charlie
- Nick falling in his tub after the “I Love You”
- Oliver (Charlie’s little bro) and his attachment to Nick’s dogs (so cute!)
- the insta posts at the end of the book (love Tao’s + Charlie’s friendship)
