Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
(Tried to read this in December 2023)
There were so many things that were bothering me and I'm glad I DNF it because I just read how this ends and I know it would've been a waste of my time and a 1 star book.
But here is the list of things I didn't like:
There were so many things that were bothering me and I'm glad I DNF it because I just read how this ends and I know it would've been a waste of my time and a 1 star book.
But here is the list of things I didn't like:
- The audiobook narrator (sorry!)
- The daddy issues because he is a cheater and the reason her parents divorce
and she is kind of forced to forgive him by the end because of social pressure???? - The miscommunication with the mother because she won't talk about the divorce
- She's a teenager, I thought it was an adult woman.
- The writing (not that I'm an expert on that, so it has to be really bad for me to notice that)
- It was boring as hell
- There's this magical realism which is not my thing and even less if it's told in a boring way
- The beginning was just so boring and not captivating at all.
- And another thing I know I would've just hated from the ending but you're telling me this girl who didn't believe in happy endings and just saw everyone around her breaking up...
will have her first love / new boyfriend killed!? as if this is a fantasy novel-
