Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan

4.0

This was a really tough reading experience for me. I was stressed and sad even though I knew it was a romance and a HEA was forthcoming. In fact, I had to go all the way to the end, read the last two chapters, and then go back to sit in the misery.

Ultimately, I really liked the main couple here, though primarily the FMC over the MMC. I understood the MMC, but he made me suffer. I loved the positive role therapy played in the story and enjoyed the supporting details like the friends, restaurant, and their kids.

A memorable and emotional romance. And I've said this a million times, and I'll stand by it: Kennedy Ryan is doing what Colleen Hoover THINKS she's doing.
