Action-packed once the crew lifts off. Some of the scientific details are interesting; some of them drag the narrative down a bit. There are some interesting puzzles offered that could be discussed at a knowledge level above my own. The details that date the book make it more intriguing to readers who can see which of Heinlein’s predictions came to fruition, and which are still in the realm of science fiction.
