what a unique read??? i loved the setting and the humour but found myself drifting away at points due to the verse format and this undermined my overall enjoyment of the book. i couldn’t possibly give it a star rating because it’s like nothing i’ve ever read before. i think maaaaaybe this is one best enjoyed in one sitting?? when i’d pick it back up i would struggle to get back into the swing of the verse format and by the time i got used to it, i’d put it back down again for a break / to sleep :/

despite this, i did enjoy it overall! she is a very talented writer and i’ll definitely be bumping blonde roots up on my tbr !!!!
