'Chainsaw Man Volume 2' does a lot to improve upon the first volume. We are introduced to more characters and given further backstories for some of the characters introduced in the first volume. We are also introduced to what appears to be the big bad for the series, which does a lot to bring the motivations of the characters together. Though this volume does a lot to explore the side characters, I do hope that further volumes will explore more of Denji's story as so far, despite being the main character, he feels the least developed.
