Wow, what a read. Michelle Obama had one hell of a story to tell and she has told it amazingly well. The tone of the book is conversational, honest, intimate (I hate that word but can’t think of another similar word) and real. It’s an understatement to say she is inspirational; what kind of world would it be if more people had her grace, poise, values, core beliefs, understanding and commitment to positivity? Her husband seems pretty sound too....but as she described their 8 years in the White House (the last third of the book), all I could think was about how much of the good they did has been undone now and how the American people made that possible by voting for Satan. Anyway, I loved this book.
