so, that was confusing as fuck.

i felt so bad for the characters most of the time but other than that it was a pretty dull and emotionless read for me. don't get me wrong it's a good book but halfway through I stopped caring about it. the story is unique(!!) and I was pretty invested in it, so I held my hopes up for the ending, which was just alright.

having read "klara and the sun" beforehand I can see the "signature" writing kazuo Ishiguro has and I think this book was far better than his latest one, although my point for having plot holes still stands strong. i wish some things were better explained and I didn't have to wonder what's happening even after the end.

maybe if I read it again someday it will all make some sense.
