How to Be a Bad Birdwatcher by Simon Barnes
4.0
A lovely little book that talks about the joys of birdwatching. Definitely aimed at beginners and those with a simple affinity for nature. Being a beginner myself, I liked the concept of a ‘bad birdwatcher’ as it made me feel good about the fact that I’m not the best. Everyone has to start somewhere and this book is a great tool for when you’re starting on your birdwatching journey. Mostly made up of personal anecdotes and childhood stories with a few bits of advice (get some binoculars!).
