I love the concept of a mystery in the Bake-off setting, but I thought the actual murder mystery itself was somewhat underwhelming, especially the ending. It felt like a lot of suspense was built up until the very end and then evaporated almost instantaneously with the final confrontation with Betsy and then the time jump. Everything was so neatly tied together in the year later jump forward in a way that just left me wanting more.
