This is interesting. The art is certainly gorgeous.

It reminds me just a tad of Bitch Planet in that this is a world where women are rounded up and punished for not complying. Only, this one focuses way more on intraspecies marriage and procreation above all else. Any women not married by 25 is forced into a program to marry someone of the same species. It touches very, very briefly on forbidden same sex attraction.

The main character is interesting enough. I honestly struggled with whether I saw her friend Trish as all that supportive, to be honest. She seemed to have been drinking the Kool Aid, which is interesting considering we don't really get any other good guy characters that support the government's cause. So... am I supposed to believe Trish was a good guy? I kind of didn't.

Anyway, it's an interesting start. I don't know if I'll continue with it.
