Book number 4 and the most recently published in the SPC series (at the time of reviewing), and we finally get Maggie's story! Oh, how disappointed I am that she isn't on the cover. I really think that was a missed opportunity, I'm not sure actually aware of why she wasn't put on the cover if anyone can enlighten me?
Asides from that I was pretty surprised to find out we would get a look into Beau and his development as a character, I really wasn't expecting it from him given his previous narration in Praise.
Seeing Maggie's character grow in confidence like that throughout the book? Priceless. I absolutely loved her being in control, finding out her sexual preferences, and discovering her voice.
I loved their relationship, and the difficult challenges they faced throughout the book strengthened that.
I am now very excited for the continuation of this series. Roll on 2023!
