There’s nothing soft or sweet about the way my mouth crashes onto hers because there’s nothing soft or sweet about Miller. She aggravates me, pushes me, challenges me.
Baby Max was the star of this book!!
I'm usually a fan of nanny romances (not in real life though), so I had high hopes for this one.
Look, it's adorable and sexy but the romance was a little rushed so it felt like I missed some of the tension I was anticipating.
Miller is a renowned pastry chef who needed a summer away to get over her slump and restore her groove.
Kai is 32-year-old pro baseball player and single dad of the most adorable 16 month old baby.
Sparks fly as soon as they meet and one thing led to another until Kai's coach (who happens to be Miller's dad) forced Kai to hire his daughter to be able to focus on the game (keep in mind Kai fired at least 5 nannies already).
The flirty banter was a little cheesy but I ate it up anyway, however too much of it eventually triggered an acid reflux and I could have no more.
I was really hoping that I would love this.
Content warning: explicit scenes, harassment, sexual objectification, mention of a family member death.
